    Immune System Friendly Recipes

    Feeding your body certain foods can help keep your immune system strong. If you're looking for ways to prevent viruses, a balanced and colorful plate is the key to success. So here a list of 15 Immune System Friendly Recipes

    Studies have shown that fruits and vegetables provide several nutrients that help boost the immune system, for example beta carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E.

    Beta-carotene: Is found in sweet potatoes, carrots and green leafy vegetables.

    Vitamins C:  Is found red peppers, oranges, strawberries, broccoli, mangoes, lemons and other fruits and vegetables.

    Vitamins E Is found  nuts, seeds, spinach and broccoli.

    Vitamin D: Go take some sunshine 15 minutes per day or you can also find it in fortified cereals, milks and supplement.

    Zinc:  Is found in nuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, beans and lentils.
