Banana with yogurt, granola and berries close up

Dessert for breakfast is the best invention ever, and this breakfast banana split is no exception.  It’s an adaption of the classic dessert, but you don’t have to feel guilty about indulging so early in the morning because this treat is actually healthy.  Not to mention super satisfying.  Instead of ice cream, we’re using coconut yogurt, which will give your breakfast a rich and decadent feel, without actually packing in a ton of fat and calories.

Simple, delicious, and a recipe that will please your kids. To make this healthy breakfast banana split, all it takes it’s one banana, coconut yogurt instead of ice cream, fruit, granola and others garnish of your choices like chocolate chips, jam, or almond butter! I really like it when my kids are having a good breakfast before they go to school and I most say every time I make this breakfast, I always find their plates empty.

    FAQS

How much time does it take to make this breakfast?

This is a simple dish that you can throw together in just a few minutes before you do have to rush off.  You will have no trouble getting your kids to clear their plates when you serve this for breakfast, especially because they can pick their own toppings.

    What topping can I use?

Just like a banana split, add whatever toppings you prefer.  Chocolate chips, jam, granola, or almond butter are all perfectly acceptable here.  You can also top with other fruits like strawberries, coconut, or mango.
