Italian Style Tofu on the Oven

Here is one of my favorite Tofu recipes. Super Simple, quick, this Italian Style Tofu in the oven will impress your guest!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block Tofu Extra firm
  • fresh basil to taste
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar Glaze

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp basil pesto
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt – pepper to taste

Sides Vegetables

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 15 asparagus stalks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In the bowl mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Cut tofu into slices or triangles. Marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes
  2. Preheat the oven to 400 ˚F
  3. On a baking sheet add the cherry tomatoes and asparagus, sprinkle with a little olive oil, salt and pepper
  4. Add the tofu to the baking sheet
  5. Bake on the center rack for 20 minutes
  6. Remove from oven, add Balsamic Vinegar Glaze and Basil on top
  7. Serve with rice or pasta if desired
