This Grilled Mediterranean Tofu is so easy to prepare and is perfect for hosting guests since much of the work is done in advance. Prepare the marinade, an easy mix of ingredients that you probably already have on hand!
1 block of extra firm tofu
4 tablespoons of olive oil
3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons of garlic
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
Sponge tofu in a towel to remove as much water as possible.
Cut the tofu into about 1/2 inch slices
Mix the rest of the ingredients to make the marinade
Coat the tofu well with the marinade and let marinate for at least 2 hours until all night.
Cook on BBQ on medium high for 7 to 10 minutes per side.
