I always have a lot of hummus in the fridge because it’s my favorite snack. As I eat a lot,I told myself that it would be more economical to do it myself, in addition I can control the ingredients that I put in my recipe.
You can also make this recipe with dry chickpeas, which you need to soak overnight, and cook the next day. It takes longer but it’s just as delicious.

This easy Sundried Tomatoes Hummus is so tasty. Serve it with a good portion of raw vegetables or crackers!
Ingredients
- 11/2 cups chickpeas canned
- ¼ cup tahini
- ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lemon juice
Instructions
- Drain the liquid from the chickpeas and rinse
- Add all the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth
- Serve it with vegetables and crackers
