Vegan avocado chocolate mousse

The best part about this avocado chocolate mousse is that it tastes so decadent that you completely forget you are getting so many health benefits all at once!


  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate chips
  • 34 tablespoons vegan cream (I use Belsoy) vegetarian version use 35% (heavy) cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup


  1. Place the cocoa in the bowl of a food processor with all the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Blend for 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour into a serving bowl or 6 small individual bowls.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. The mousse will keep for 4 days in the refrigerator.
