Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup carrots sliced into ¼ inch rounds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Wash and peel carrots if desired. Slice them into thin rounds about ¼ inch thick.
  • Place the carrot slices in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder and salt over the carrots. Toss well so everything is coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  • Arrange the carrot slices in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Remove once the edges look golden and slightly crisp.
  • Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Thin slices cook best and crisp more evenly.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
  • Add parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes for extra flavor.
  • If chips soften after cooling, reheat for 2–3 minutes in the air fryer.
