Equipment

  • 1 small cast iron skillet (6–8 inches)
  • Oven or toaster oven
  • Heatproof spatula or spoon
  • oven
  • Baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Peeps chicks, bunnies—any Easter shape!
  • 1 sleeve of graham crackers
  • 1 bag of Hershey’s Kisses or any meltable chocolate

Instructions

Skillet Peep S’mores

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Unwrap your Hershey’s Kisses and arrange them in a single layer in your cast iron skillet. You want to cover the bottom with chocolate.
  • Arrange the Peeps in a single layer on top of the chocolate. You can squish them close together—they look cute that way!
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 7–10 minutes, or until the Peeps are puffed and lightly golden on top. Watch closely around the 7-minute mark so they don’t over-toast.
  • Serve immediately with graham crackers on the side for scooping and dipping.

Classic Peep S’mores

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line it with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  • Break graham crackers into squares and place half of them on the baking sheet. Top each with 1–2 Hershey’s Kisses (or a few chocolate pieces).
  • Place one Peep on top of the chocolate on each cracker.
  • Bake for 5–6 minutes, just until the Peeps start to puff and the chocolate is softened. Keep an eye on them—the sugar coating on Peeps can brown quickly!
  • Remove from the oven, immediately top each s’more with another graham cracker square, and gently press to sandwich everything together.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving—just enough so they’re warm and gooey, but not too hot to handle.

Notes

  • Hosting Easter brunch? Prep the skillet in advance and pop it in the oven just before dessert is served.
  • Want to package this up? Make mini sandwich-style s’mores and wrap them in wax paper to tuck into Easter baskets.
  • Make it pretty: Add edible flower petals or pastel sprinkles on top before serving for a sweet spring vibe.
