Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • large mixing bowl
  • Small bowl
  • Spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 cups honeydew melon cubed
  • 2 cups green grapes
  • 2 large green apples chopped
  • 2 large pears chopped
  • 4 kiwi peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh mint chopped
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  • Prepare the melon, apples, pears, grapes, and kiwi into bite-size pieces.
  • Place all the fruit into a large serving bowl.
  • In a small bowl, mix orange juice, maple syrup, and mint until combined.
  • Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture.
  • Gently stir until everything is coated evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes if possible before serving.
  • Stir once more and serve chilled.

Notes

  • If your apples are very tart, add an extra teaspoon maple syrup.
  • Cut fruit evenly so the salad looks more polished.
  • Add kiwi right before serving if making ahead.
  • Fresh mint is worth it. Dried mint doesn’t taste the same here.
