Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Rubber spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree 100% pure pumpkin
  • 4 cups Cool Whip thawed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • More Cool Whip + cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
  • Add pumpkin puree and blend until fully combined. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Fold in the Cool Whip gently with a spatula until light and fluffy.
  • Spoon into serving bowls or jars, cover, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Garnish with extra Cool Whip and a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.

Notes

  • Let cream cheese soften fully for a silky texture.
  • Don’t over-mix after adding Cool Whip, or it’ll deflate.
  • Chill overnight for the best flavor.
  • Top with crushed gingersnaps or graham crackers for crunch.
