6-quart slow cooker
Mixing bowl + whisk
Cutting board + knife
- 6 to 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Stir together BBQ sauce, honey, vinegar, and garlic.
Place chicken in the slow cooker, single layer.
Pour sauce over and coat.
Cover and cook: 5–6 hours on low or 3–4 hours on high.
Garnish with parsley and serve whole or shredded.
-
Use boneless, skinless thighs for best texture, but bone-in works too.
-
For smoky flavor, add a splash of liquid smoke or smoked paprika.
-
Make it a freezer meal: prep sauce + chicken in a bag, freeze, then dump into the slow cooker later.
-
If shredding, save some extra BBQ sauce for mixing in at the end.
