Sriracha Meatballs

This quick sriracha maple meatballs recipe is the perfect easy dinner or appetizer when you need something fast but full of flavor. Frozen meatballs simmer gently, then get coated in a sweet, spicy, garlicky sauce that’s sticky, savory, and seriously addictive.

Equipment

  • large skillet
  • Lid (or foil)
  • Small bowl
  • Spoon or spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 24–32 oz package frozen meatballs
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for serving
  • 4 tablespoon water to steam meatballs

Instructions

  • Add frozen meatballs to a large skillet. Pour in 2–4 tablespoons water and cover with a lid.
  • Heat over medium for 6–8 minutes, stirring once or twice, until warmed through.
  • Remove lid and had sriracha, maple syrup, garlic powder, salt and pepper into the skillet. Stir to coat the meatballs evenly.
  • Sprinkle with cilantro and serve hot.

Notes

  1. Keep heat medium-low once sauce is added.
  2. For meal prep, make a double batch and store with rice for quick lunches.
