Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Serrated knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Cutting board

Ingredients

Horseradish Mayo

  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Beef Sliders

  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 1 pound cooked roast beef shredded or chopped
  • ½ cup crispy onions
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, horseradish, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the slider buns horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom section into a baking dish.
  • Spread the mayo mixture all over the bottom buns. Add the roast beef on top, spreading it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the beef, then add the crispy onions.
  • Place the top buns back on.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
  • Slice into sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra spice, stir in a bit of Dijon mustard.
  • You can swap Swiss cheese for cheddar or provolone.
  • Hawaiian rolls stay the softest when baked.
  • Reheat leftovers at a low temperature so the bread doesn’t dry out.
