Plus cooking it in the air fryer is an easy method that will only take you less than 15 minutes, so you can make this delicious lemon garlic mushrooms recipe even on a busy weeknight!

    You'll never want to cook mushrooms any other way after trying this recipe. Air frying makes it easier than ever to cook them until they're browned and tender with a whole lot of flavor.     • Garlic Powder
    • Olive oil
    • Parsley
    • Salt and pepper

    Step 1: Cut the mushroom in half.

    Bowl with a whisk, mixing the olive oil, and garlic powder.

    Step 2: In a large bowl add olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and stir it.

    Step 3: Add the mushroom to the bowl, and toss until the mushroom is completely coated.

    Step 4: Place the mushrooms in the air fryer's basket, select 370, ˚F, and cook for 8 minutes, stirring halfway.

    Step 5: Once cooked, top with lemon zest and fresh herbs.

    Substitutions

    • Parsley - instead of parsley, you can use fresh thyme, rosemary, cilantro
    • Lemon juice - to make it extra fancy, you can also use white dry wine
    • Spicy - For extra kick can add pepper flake or sriracha sauce just before serving

    Oven instruction

    • Preheat the oven to 350 ˚F
    • Cut the mushroom in half.
    • In a large bowl add olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and stir it.
    • Add the mushroom to the bowl, and toss until the mushroom is completely coated.
    • Place the mushrooms on a cooking pan, and cook in the oven for 10 stirring occasionally.
    • Once cooked, top with lemon zest and fresh herbs.

    How long can I keep the lemon and garlic mushrooms?

    You can keep the mushrooms for up to 3 days in the fridge, but it's better to eat them immediately because the texture will change over time, and they will become soggier.
     
    Do not Freeze.

    What is the best way to clean mushrooms?

    Mushrooms are like sponges; they fill up with water. That's why you should never put them under the tap or let them soak: you have to clean them dry.
     
    1. Cut off the stems of the mushrooms and clean them with a damp cloth.
    2. You can gently rub them with a small brush.
     
    3. They can be also be scraped off with a knife.

    • 1 package 8oz white mushroom cut in half
    • 3 tablespoon olive oil
    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • The zest of 1 lemon
    • 1 tablespoon fresh parlsey chopped
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions
     

    • Cut the mushroom in half.
    • In a large bowl add olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, stir it.
    • Add the mushroom to the bowl, toss until the mushroom is completely coated.
    • Place the mushrooms in the air fryer's basket, select 370, ˚F and cook for 8 minutes, stirring halfway.
    • Once cooked, top with lemon zest and fresh herbs

    Notes
