    Ingredients

Ingredients you need to make this recipe, eggs, mustards, mayonnaisem paprika, salt and pepper.

Eggs: Use fresh large eggs with intact shells for best results. When boiling eggs, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the water to make them easier to peel. It's also important to cool the eggs completely before peeling so they don't stick to the shells.

Mayonnaise: When using mayonnaise in deviled eggs, make sure to use enough to achieve a creamy filling, but not so much that it becomes runny.

Mustard: Most types of mustard can be used, including yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, and whole-grain mustard. Mustard adds a unique flavor and can also help to thicken the filling. When using mustard in deviled eggs, add it sparingly and adjust to taste.

Paprika: Paprika is a type of red pepper powder that comes from ground-dried chili peppers. It has a mild, earthy flavor and is a popular ingredient in deviled eggs. Paprika adds color, flavor, and mild spiciness to the dish. When using paprika in deviled eggs, start with a small amount and adjust to taste.

    What are deviled eggs?

Deviled eggs are a classic snack or appetizer, made by boiling and peeling eggs, cutting them in half, and then blending the egg yolks with a variety of seasonings, condiments, herbs, and spices. The mixture is then piped back into the egg whites to form a creamy filling. Deviled eggs often include ingredients like mayonnaise, dijon mustard, paprika, and pickles. They are typically served cold or at room temperature and make a great appetizer or snack.

    Instructions

Eggs in the basket of the air fryer.

Gently place eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Set the temperature to 270 ˚F and cook for 15-17 minutes.

    eggs in a ice bowl.

Once the eggs are cooked transfer them to an ice bath. Let them cool for a few minutes.

With a piping bag, or a spoon add the egg yolk mixture into egg white halves.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Variations

You can add a variety of flavorings to your air fryer deviled eggs. Try some classic additions, like chili powder, bagel seasoning, or get creative with herbs like dill, parsley, or chives. You can also mix in, pickles, horseradish, and other condiments for added flavor.

Deviled eggs with cream cheese are also a delicious twist on the classic dish. To make this easy recipe, start by boiling and peeling your hard boil eggs as you normally would. Once cooled, cut them in half and scoop out the yolks into a separate bowl. Mash them together with cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, pickles and other desired seasonings. Finally, spoon the filling into the egg whites and top with a sprinkle of paprika for an extra kick.

    Equipment

Air Fryer: An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that cooks food by circulating hot air around it. It works similarly to an oven, but the hot air is circulated more evenly throughout the cooking chamber, resulting in a crispier and healthier result due to the decreased amount of oil used

Medium bowl: A medium bowl is perfect for creating an ice bath, which is a useful technique for cooling boiled eggs quickly and evenly. Simply fill the bowl with equal parts cold water and ice cubes. Once the eggs are cooked transfer them directly into the ice bath. This will stop the cooking process and help keep them from sticking to their shells.

Tips for peeling hard boiled egg

When peeling hard boiled eggs, the most important thing to remember is to start with a cold egg. Freshly boiled eggs can be difficult to peel since the warmth of the egg causes it to stick to the shell. To avoid this problem, immediately transfer your cooked eggs into a bowl of ice water and let them cool for at least 10 minutes before peeling. Additionally, you can try gently tapping the egg on a hard surface to help loosen the shell before peeling. This simple step can make all the difference when it comes to getting a clean peel!

    FAQ

What can I serve with the air fryer hard boiled eggs?

You can serve air fryer eggs with a variety of sides, such as roasted vegetables, potato wedges, fresh greens, or a light salad. You can also top your egg with some herbs and spices for added flavor. Additionally, you could serve it with a side of toast or crackers to make it into more of a meal.

Is the cooking time the same for different air fryer?

The cooking time for different air fryers can vary a little. The cooking time is determined largely by the size of the air fryer and the size of the eggs. Generally, smaller air fryers require a longer cooking time than larger ones since they have less space and may need to be cooked in batches. In addition, eggs that are larger in size will take longer to cook than smaller eggs.
