Mediterranean Grilled Tofu

1 block of extra firm tofu
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
Pat the tofu dry to remove as much water as possible.
Cut the Tofu into about 1/2 inch slices
Mix the rest of the ingredients to make the marinade
Coat the tofu well with the marinade and let marinate at least 2 hours or overnight.
Cook on the BBQ at medium high temperature for 7 to 10 minutes per side.
